From the many lakes that are the headwaters of the Naha River to Naha Bay...you
are in beautiful Naha Country. A place unlike any other. By congressional act of 1990, over 30,000 acres of inland Naha land were set aside for future generations to enjoy! The historic community of Loring Alaska hugs the shores of Naha Bay.
. The Naha Bay Preservation Coalition was formed in May 2005 as a grass roots effort to stand up for preserving the Naha area. Through education, public and private land preservation and local government policies, the coalition hopes to preserve for now and for future generations the many attributes that make the area the place we all love. Including preserving habitat, ecology, history and natural resources.
