Stacks Clan House Lodge Ammenities
- 14 foot Lund SKIFF & 15 HP MOTOR ( 5 gallons of fuel & Salmon Fish tackle,bait, 2 - poles and 2 life jackets for guest use. (Guests must sign waiver for self guided trips). Neets Bay Hatchery Salmon spots are close by; no need to pay hundreds of dollars for a charter service to catch hatchery salmon)Let us know in advance if you are interested in fishing so that we can plan for proper fish storage of your catch. Cleaning of catch,vacumm pack service and freezing available and complimentary to our guests! : ) We are expert salmon slimers. : )
- WATER TAXI SERVICE- Complimentary to our guests;we provide transportation to the Naha River trail system for a day of hiking or get dropped off at a near by island for some beach combing and hiking and wildlife viewing.
- KAYAKS- Complimentary 4 single Equinox Kayaks(multi channel hull for stability and tracking; These kayaks are great for beginners and experienced kayakers. Great for exploring our protected bays and shorelines. A word of caution, Naha Bay does get some good wind that leads to swells. Fun for bouncing around in as long as you have some experience. We recommend paddling early mornings or evenings. (This is a use at your own risk ammenity, guest must sign a waiver before use)
- SUSTAINABLE SPORTSFISHING PACKAGES- We will gladly arrange for your self guided or fully chartered salmon fishing adventures. Best time to sportsfish for Hatchery salmon is from late July - Early September. Summer months the Neets Bay Fish hatchery stock return around the outer Camano Pt and Tatoosh Rocks in Behm Canal. This is the spot where most local charters and lodges take their guests. Ground fish in our immediate area have been fished out unfortunately. Halibut stock in our area has been greatly depleted with NOAA announcing more restrictions on halibut charters. Halbut charters are limited now in our area and are not recommended.
- Tours- if you plan to spend some time in Ketchikan before or after your visit to Loring please let us know. We will be glad to recommend tours and attractions and help plan your ketchikan visit.

Important Information
- Transportation cost to and from Loring is included in most packages. We will gladly arrange ground transportation from the airport to the local marina for you. Please let us know if you will be need a pick up in Ketchikan at the airport or downtown. Taxi service will run about $80 Round Trip from Ketchikan. The water taxi trip to Loring takes about 30 minutes from Knudson Cove Marina. Float plane service is available and quite fun but will run about $250 per person oneway. You may get a better deal if you let us know in advance.
- Bed Taxes not included/ State of Alaska fish licences not included.
- Additional guests/children please add +150.00 per individual per night
- Guests must be in good health, Loring is considered Semi-remote. With the nearest road end 10 miles away in Clover Pass.
- Inn/cabin is smoke free
- We welcome children ages 6 to 12. We have a great beach front ideal for exploring children. We provide books and games for those rainy days. We have a large selection of family movies as well.
- We are located off the grid. Power is by generator, we use oil lamps for evening lights as much as possible. We cook with propane and our cooler is cooled by propane. Heat is by oil. Cell phone coverage is available but very limited.
| Please note: A refundable 25% deposit is required to hold reservation. Remaining balance due 30 days before arrival. Balance is refundable only if reservation is cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival, less a $40.00 fee.
